After my teenage experiences in which I had fun participating in local radio shows made specifically to give space to loyal listeners, in 2013 I was offered the opportunity to host my own show by the American web radio ‘Fuego Beats’. I was also given carte blanche on how to structure it, and I took the opportunity to put into practice an idea that had been swirling around in my head for twenty years, which was to propose electronic music tracks from the ’70s (and sometimes earlier) up to the present day in every episode.
The other rule was that each nation would be represented by only one track, and precisely these two rules are the reason why the motto of the show, repeated at the beginning of each episode, was: “Discovering electronic music on a journey through time and space”. ‘Electric Delights’ aired for two seasons, in 2013 and 2014, and then my return to Italy no longer allowed me the necessary time to prepare that third season, which I do not exclude may be realized in a more or less distant future.
